Round-up of this evening's SPFL matches...

Celtic remain a point clear at the top of the cinch Premiership after beating Aberdeen 3-2 at Pittodrie. The Dons battled back from two goals down at half-time but Jota grabbed the winner for Ange Postecoglou's side in 62 minutes.

Alfredo Morelos sealed a 2-0 victory for second-placed Rangers over Hibernian at Ibrox and Tony Watt scored against his former club as Dundee United beat Motherwell 2-0 at Tannadice to climb to fourth place.

Danny Mullen scored the winner as Dundee beat Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle to move off the foot of the table at the expense of St Johnstone. The Perth side led in Paisley but lost 2-1 to St Mirren, who have moved into the top six thanks to Alex Grieve's winner. Ross County equalised in stoppage time as it ended 1-1 against Livingston at the Global Energy Stadium.

Arbroath are now five points clear in the cinch Championship after a 2-2 draw with Hamilton Accies although it took a last-gasp penalty from Michael McKenna to salvage a point for the Red Lichties.

Second-placed Kilmarnock went down 2-1 to local rivals Ayr United at Rugby Park, with Patrick Reading scoring a late winner for the Honest Men in front of 7,560 fans.

Brian Graham bagged a hat-trick for Partick Thistle but they were forced to settle for a 3-3 draw at promotion rivals Inverness CT, with Kirk Broadfoot equalising deep into added time.
