4 - Dundee United thumped Aberdeen 4-0 at Tannadice to pick up their first win of the cinch Premiership campaign. Goals from Aziz Behich, Tony Watt, Jamie McGrath and a Ross McCrorie own goal handed Liam Fox's side the victory and kept them within three points of Ross County at the foot of the table. It was United's biggest league win since 2019, and their biggest in the top flight since they defeated Kilmarnock 5-1 at Tannadice in January 2016. The Terrors now have three wins and a draw in their last four home matches against Aberdeen, without conceding a single goal. This is just the sixth time United have beaten the Dons by a margin of four or more goals - the last occasion was a 5-0 victory in November 1997, when Kjell Olofsson (2), Lars Zetterlund, Andy McLaren and Craig Easton were on the scoresheet.
4 - Hibernian climbed to third in the cinch Premiership thanks to a 1-0 victory over Motherwell at Easter Road. Ryan Porteous scored the only goal in the second half to hand Lee Johnson's side a fourth consecutive league win. This is the first time the Hibees have won four in a row in the league since January-February 2021, a run which helped propel them to a third-placed finish. Hibs have four wins and two draws in their last six matches against the Steelmen - their last defeat was actually the match which ended their previous four-game winning streak.
13 - Ayr United thrashed Queen's Park 5-0 at Somerset to move level on points with Partick Thistle and Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the top of the cinch Championship. Championship top scorer Dipo Akinyemi netted a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to 10 goals in nine league matches, before Brad Young and Ben Dempsey rounded off a comprehensive victory. Akinyemi is the first Ayr player to score a hat-trick since Lawrence Shankland scored four in a 5-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice in November 2018, which was also the last time they won by five or more goals in the league. The Honest Men are now unbeaten in their last 13 league matches against the Spiders - they've picked up 11 wins and two draws since their last defeat back in August 2007.
0 - Dunfermline Athletic continued their unbeaten start to the cinch League 1 season by defeating Alloa Athletic 3-0 at the Indodrill Stadium. Aaron Comrie, Matthew Todd and Craig Wighton were all on the scoresheet for James McPake's side, who remain two points behind leaders FC Edinburgh with a game in hand. The Pars are the only unbeaten side left in the SPFL, having taken five wins and four draws from their nine league matches. The Pars have yet to concede a goal away from home in the league - this run of four consecutive away clean sheets in the league is their best run since September-November 2015, when they managed five in a row on their way to winning the League 1 title.
6 - Stirling Albion notched up an astonishing 6-0 victory over cinch League 2 leaders Dumbarton to close the gap at the top of the table to just two points. Robert Thomson, Paul McLean, Dale Carrick and Ross McGeachie all scored in the first half. Two second-half goals from Kyle Banner rounded off an emphatic win for Darren Young's side, who have now netted 16 goals in their last four games. This was the Binos’ biggest league win since they defeated Montrose 7-0 in February 2016 - it's only the fifth time they've won a match by six or more goals at Forthbank since they moved there in 1993. It is incredibly rare for a side who are top of the league after more than a quarter of the campaign to lose by six or more goals - it has only happened on seven previous occasions, most recently back in January 1976 when Raith Rovers beat Berwick Rangers 7-1 in the third tier.
