3 - Hibernian defeated Motherwell 3-2 at Fir Park on Sunday to climb to 7th in the cinch Premiership table. Kevin Nisbet was the Hibs hero, scoring all three of their goals as they moved to within a point of St Mirren in the battle for the top six. Hibs are now unbeaten in their last seven matches against Motherwell in all competitions, picking up four wins and three draws. Nisbet is the first Hibs player to score a hat-trick against Motherwell since Colin Nish in the famous 6-6 draw at Fir Park in 2010. It's the second hat-trick of Nisbet's Hibernian career, with the first coming away to Livingston in August 2020 - he is the first Hibs player to score two or more away league hat-tricks since Jimmy O'Rourke in the 1970s.
35 - Celtic maintained their nine-point lead at the top of the cinch Premiership thanks to a 2-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Celtic Park. Jota scored on the stroke of half-time before Ash Taylor's own goal sealed the three points for Ange Postecoglou's side. Celtic are now unbeaten in 35 home league matches, picking up 31 wins and four draws since their defeat to St Mirren in January 2021. The Hoops are now unbeaten in 11 matches against Killie, picking up 10 wins and a draw since their last defeat in September 2018. These sides will not have long to wait until their next meeting - they face off again at Hampden on Saturday in the Viaplay Cup semi-final.
4 - Queen's Park thumped Cove Rangers 6-0 at Balmoral Stadium to move four points clear at the top of the cinch Championship. Simon Murray scored four times, with Jake Davidson and Grant Savoury also on the scoresheet for Owen Coyle's side. The Spiders have now recorded eight consecutive wins in all competitions, racking up an incredible 28 goals in the process. It was their biggest away win in any competition since they defeated Brechin City 7-0 on Boxing Day 1970. Murray was the first player to score four goals in a game for Queen's Park since Jamie Longworth in a 6-0 win over Elgin City in January 2012, and the first to do so away from home since Brian McPhee in a 5-5 draw with East Fife in 1993.
10 - Dunfermline Athletic moved four points clear at the top of cinch League 1 thanks to a crucial 1-0 win over nearest challengers Edinburgh at Meadowbank Stadium. Craig Wighton scored the only goal of the game to give James McPake's side their third win over Edinburgh this season. The Pars are now unbeaten in 10 matches in all competitions, and have only lost once in their last 22 matches. Dunfermline have already kept 11 clean sheets in 20 league matches this season and are on course to equal their club record of 20 clean sheets, set in 1976/77.
4 - Albion Rovers climbed off the foot of the cinch League 2 table courtesy of a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Bonnyrigg Rose at New Dundas Park. Two goals from Charlie Reilly and one apiece from Jamie Leslie and Luke Graham gave Brian Reid's side an important victory which saw them leapfrog their opponents at the foot of the table. Rovers have won just five matches in the league this season, and three of those have come against Bonnyrigg.
