Weekend preview

It's a curtailed card because of the Scottish Cup fifth round but there are important games in the Championship, League 1 and League 2.

Ladbrokes Championship
Alloa Athletic and Falkirk meet at the Indodrill Stadium in a game brought forward from Tuesday February 26 at the request of the clubs as both are out of the Scottish Cup. The Bairns beat Queen of the South 3-0 last weekend while the Wasps lost 3-1 at home to Ayr - another victory for Ray McKinnon's team would see them leapfrog both Partick Thistle and Alloa at the bottom.

Ladbrokes League 1
Arbroath are 12 points in front with a game in hand as they prepare to welcome Stranraer to Gayfield, with the visitors in seventh spot but just two clear of the relegation zone. Forfar Athletic are looking to continue the good form that has seen them move five points ahead in fourth place but their visitors Airdrieonians still harbour hopes of a play-off. With Dumbarton not playing, a win for Stenhousemuir at home to Montrose would lift them off the foot.

Ladbrokes League 2
There's a huge game at Balmoor as leaders Edinburgh City travel to play second-placed Peterhead. The Citizens have a four-point lead at the summit but the Blue Toon have two matches in hand - it finished 1-1 when the sides met in the capital in December.

There's another crucial clash at Galabank as Annan Athletic, who occupy the final play-off place and have beaten the top two recently, host a Clyde team who have won their last six outings to become title contenders. Stirling Albion, who have lost just one of their last 11 matches, are away to struggling Berwick Rangers while bottom club Albion Rovers are at home to Elgin City and Queen's Park take on Cowdenbeath at Hampden.
