Weekend preview

A look ahead to this weekend's SPFL fixtures, with fewer games due to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals...

Ladbrokes Premiership
Kilmarnock and Motherwell try again at Rugby Park on Saturday after Wednesday's match was abandoned due to fog early in the second half. Killie have won the last four meetings between the teams. Bottom club St Mirren host Livingston in Paisley aiming to close the gap on second-bottom Dundee to a single point but they have lost twice to Livi this season.

Ladbrokes Championship
The weekend action gets under way with the Friday night meeting of Morton and Falkirk at Cappielow, live on BBC Scotland at 7.05pm. A home win would move Jonatan Johansson's men level on points with fourth-placed Inverness CT while a draw would take Falkirk out of the relegation zone. On Saturday, Dunfermline Athletic are looking to continue their improved run of form when Queen of the South, who have slipped to seventh place, visit East End Park.

Ladbrokes League 1
Leaders Arbroath are still 16 points clear and unbeaten away from home as they prepare to visit improving Dumbarton while second-placed Raith Rovers make the long journey to Stranraer. It's third against fourth at Station Park as Forfar Athletic meet East Fife and there's a big game at the bottom as Stenhousemuir play Brechin City at Ochilview. Airdrieonians are at home to Montrose in the day's other game.

Ladbrokes League 2
New leaders Peterhead are two points clear going into their Balmoor meeting with fifth-placed Elgin City and there's a big game at Broadwood as title rivals Clyde, unbeaten in 15 games, host second-placed Edinburgh City. Fourth-placed Annan Athletic are in good form as they welcome Queen's Park to Galabank and Cowdenbeath meet Stirling Albion at Central Park. Bottom club Albion Rovers are seven points behind Berwick Rangers, who visit Coatbridge this weekend.
