Clyde winger Paul McMullan made his playing comeback earlier than expected on Saturday, after 7 months out, when Manager Jim Duffy threw him on with 18 minutes left in their 2-0 win over Peterhead.
Duffy said, “Paul was actually injured before I came here in February and he has suffered from a broken bone in his foot twice as it was not resetting correctly the first time. It might have been a bit early to put him back in but we were winning in the game, we were at home and playing well and he fancied giving it a go.”
“He felt great at the end and I sure winning the game had something to do with that as well.”
