The football fan who intends to complete worldwide tour of 5000 football stadiums is taking in the Ayr United and Clachnacuddin Scottish Cup tie at Somerset Park on Saturday, November 3.
Gary Thomson has contacted the Second Division side to advise of his visit with Ayr’s Operations manager Tracy McTrusty saying, “Gary got in touch about his world tour that has already seen him visit 88 stadiums. There have been 42 in Scotland, 43 in England and 3 in Germany and he has already visited Rangers, Celtic, Schalke 04, Borrusia Dortmund and Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are chasing him to get a date in his diary.”
“He got in touch asking if it would be in order to take some photographs that will make it a memorable visit to Somerset Park and we advised him that we would be delighted to see him.”
