Elgin striker Dennis Wyness has disappointed a number of clubs in the SPFL and the Highland League by letting it be known he will be re-signing for City.
The 37-year-old, who has played for eight clubs since starting off at Aberdeen two decades ago, has spent the last two seasons at Borough Briggs and wants to sign on for a third term under his former Inverness Caley Thistle team-mate Barry Wilson.
He told the Elgin website: “I’ve agreed to stay for another season and I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully, we can have a better season than this one and the play offs at least will be our aim.”
