It was a case of two in from the Highland League and one out for Third Division Peterhead Manager John Sheran yesterday. The Blue Toon have welcomed back youngsters Paul Young and Peter Bruce to their ranks after they spent last season on loan at Huntly gaining first team experience, whereas former Aberdeen defender Stuart Smith left Balmoor to join Bobby Mann and Neil McVitie at Formartine United.
Sheran said, “Paul and Peter did really well in the Highland League and I had many requests from about their availability speaks volumes of the contribution they made at Huntly. They are in our first team squad on merit now and they have the chance to grab a starting place.”
“I would also like to express my thanks to Stuart for his time at the club and wish Bobby, Neil and him well at Formartine.”
