Dunfermline boss Jim Jefferies praised his side for ending Rangers' 100% away record in League 1 with a 1-1 draw at East End Park on Saturday.
Lewis Martin cancelled out Dean Shiels' opener, with Jefferies having made a number of changes ahead of the midweek play-off against Stranraer at Stair Park.
He said: "There were nine players out there - apart from Craig Dargo and John Potter - who came through our youth system. They did themselves and the club proud to get a result like that.
"I have nothing but admiration for the way they stuck to their task and they had passion in abundance. One or two have given me a selection problem but that is what I wanted!”
