Dumbarton manager Alan Adamson has sent full-backs Adam Monaghan and Robert Connolly out on loan to Ayrshire Junior club Kilbirnie Ladeside and he has also decided not to offer English trialist striker John Hempstead a contract at the club.
Adamson, who has given former Falkirk player Craig McLeish training facilities, said “Adam and Robert will benefit from going out on loan and I think that that John is going there too. We have not signed Craig but have offered him the chance to train with us at the moment and he is a player we know well after a loan spell with us last season.”
