Classic Match! Dundee 3-4 Hibernian (08/08/1999)

This week's classic match comes from 1999, when newly-promoted Hibernian claimed their first win of the season thanks to two late goals away at Dundee. The Hibees took the lead after 32 minutes when Dirk Lehmann was brilliantly played through by Russell Latapy to score past Rab Douglas.

In the second half, the match became memorable. The home side scored twice in as many minutes - the first a comical own goal, the second a lovely finish from Shaun McSkimming before Hibees legend Franck Sauzee's deflected free-kick brought the sides level. An Eddie Annand penalty looked to had sealed victory for Dundee, but goals from Sauzee and a young Kenny Miller secured the three points for the team from Leith.
