A reduced fixture list because of Scottish Cup replays did not diminish the excitment in Scottish League 1.East Fife held on for a draw at Gayfield despite having Scott McBride and Gary Thom sent off. Liam Buchanan bagged a double for the Fifers, with Alan Cook and Lee Erwin (penalty) netting for Arbroath.

Elsewhere, top scorer Jon Daly and Lee McCulloch, from the penalty spot, were on target in the second half as Rangers made it 12 wins out of 12 against Airdrie at Ibrox.

Running Order:

0:28 - Rangers vs Airdrie
1:45 - Forfar Athletic vs Brechin City
2:35 - Arbroath vs East FIfe
