Classic Match! Inverness CT 3-2 Celtic (04/05/2011) | SPFL Classics

Inverness CT stalwart Grant Munro scored his final goal for the club as the Caley Jags derailed Celtic's title bid at the Caledonian Stadium in a SPL classic. Despite finishing in the bottom six of the SPL table, Inverness took on Neil Lennon's title-chasing Celtic side after the league split in a rearranged fixture that could have seen the visitors reclaiming top-spot from Rangers, but a stunning performance from Terry Butcher's men left their hopes in tatters. Charlie Mulgrew's unfortunate own goal was cancelled out by Kris Commons moments later but Munro and Shane Sutherland struck after the break to give Caley a cushion and they held on despite a late Celtic rally which saw Commons' net his second from the penalty spot in injury time.
