Dundee closed the gap on leaders Hamilton Accies to just three points with an emphatic win at the Bet Butler Stadium. Peter MacDonald bagged a double for John Brown's men, with Ryan Conroy and Gavin Rae also on target. Garry Fleming scored for Dumbarton, who had Colin Nish sent off.
