Late penalty denies Well historic win over Celts

A late penalty kick from Scott Sinclair denied Motherwell a famous victory over Celtic at Fir Park and extended the visitors’ unbeaten domestic run to 66 games with a 1-1 draw in the SPFL Ladbrokes Premiership. Mikael Lustig’s own goal appeared to be sending Celtic to defeat for the first time since May 2016, but Sinclair’s late goal after a foul on Callum McGregor ensured a share of the points.
