United and Accies draw blank in Play-Off battle

Dundee United and Hamilton Accies drew a blank in the first leg of the Ladbrokes Premiership Play-Off at Tannadice. Rakish Bingham and David Templeton went close for the visitors whilst Remi Matthews pulled off an excellent save to deny Thomas Mikkelsen. The main talking point was Simon Murray. The United front man saw red after picking up a second yellow for what was judged to be an act of simulation on the edge of the Accies box.
