It’s the biggest weekend of the football season so far, with Hampden all set to host the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup, presented by QTS.
Derek McInnes' Aberdeen side face Dundee United on Saturday.
The Scottish League Cup holders kicked off the defence of their trophy by hosting Championship side Livingston at Pittodrie.
The Dons opened the scoring early on thanks to Ash Taylor getting on the end of a Willo Flood cross to nod home his first goal for the club.
Adam Rooney doubled the hosts’ advantage on the hour mark, combining well with David Goodwillie, before firing an unstoppable strike past Darren Jamieson from just inside the box.
Rooney added his second on 74 minutes, guiding a low shot into the bottom left corner, and then completed his hat trick with a couple of minutes left, nudging the ball into the net from close range.
The Dons booked their place in the semi-finals thanks to a narrow win over Hamilton Accies at Pittodrie.
Adam Rooney scored the only goal of the game on 24 minutes. The striker got on the end of an inch perfect free kick delivery from Niall McGinn and sent a powerful diving header past Accies’ keeper Michael McGovern.
