Not long until semi-final weekend of the Scottish League Cup, presented by QTS, kicks off!
There’s the small matter of the first Old Firm match since April 2012 taking place at Hampden Park on Sunday.
Let’s take a look back at Celtic’s journey to the semis…
Celtic got their cup campaign started back in September, welcoming Robbie Neilson’s in form Hearts side to the East End of Glasgow.
On loan Man City striker John Guidetti scored his first goal for the Hoops on 24 minutes firing the ball past Neil Alexander after a flowing passing move from the home side.
Hearts striker Osman Sow fired a penalty over the bar before Kris Commons doubled Celtic’s advantage with a penalty of his own.
Adam Eckersley chested the ball past his own keeper four minutes later to put the hosts three up.
There was a Halloween horror show at Celtic Park at the end of October with the Hoops securing their place in the last four with a crushing 6-0 victory over 10-man Partick Thistle.
John Guidetti opened the scoring for the hosts after half an hour. Thistle managed to hold out until the interval but the floodgates opened in the second half.
Guidetti went on to claim his hat trick, including a sublime free kick. Leigh Griffiths bagged a double whilst Emilio Izaguirre scored his first goal in 4 years.
