Dark Blues snap up Nelson

Dundee have signed striker Andrew Nelson from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee on a deal until the summer of 2021.

The 21-year-old spent time on loan at Darlington earlier this season and has also had loan spells at Hartlepool United, Harrogate Town and Falkirk.

Nelson put pen to paper with Jim McIntyre's side ahead of Saturday's Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Queen of the South at the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park.
