Dundee are hosting a dinner to commemorate the 40th anniversary of their 1-0 League Cup victory over Celtic at Hampden in 1973.
The event will take place exactly 40 years to the day, on December 15, in the Invercarse Hotel with tickets costing £40.
The win was Dundee’s last major trophy, with the side being skippered by Tommy Gemmell and the winning goal coming from Gordon Wallace - both players went on to manage the club.
It promises to be a poignant night for fans and players alike as the manager who led the Dark Blues to their success, David White, passed away in July.
