Stuart Kettlewell has returned to manage Ross County following his exit from Kilmarnock.
Kettlewell was relieved of his duties with the Ayrshire side on December 15 following a run of 10 matches without a victory.
A former player with the Staggies, Kettlewell enjoyed a spell in charge of the club from 2018 until 2020 during which he led the club to promotion to the Scottish Premiership and won the Scottish Challenge Cup.
He departed Dingwall in December 2020 before taking charge of Motherwell in February 2023.
County sit in 10th place in the William HillChampionship, five points away from Airdrieonians in 9th.
In a club statement, Kettlewell said: "I’m delighted to return to the club I have spent 12 years of my life serving as player, coach co-manager and manager with some standout successes along the way.
"We find ourselves in a fight and when asked I had no hesitation to accept the challenge.
"I will pour everything into the next few months with the staff and players to maintain our position in the Championship.
"Being back at Ross County will feel like home and I can’t wait to get started."
