Kris Boyd is now the top scorer in SPL history and the only player to have twice scored five goals in a Clydesdale Bank Premier League match. 

Here are some of the landmarks en route to his 160 goals:

17/11/01 - Scores first SPL goal in Kilmarnock's 2-0 win over Motherwell.

25/09/04 - Nets all five Kilmarnock goals in the 5-2 defeat of Dundee United.

21/01/06 - Scores first SPL goals for Rangers, bagging a double in the 4-1 victory over Livingston.

02/04/06 - Claims a hat-trick in a 4-1 win at Dundee United.

11/02/07 - Hits treble against former club Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

17/03/07 - Another hat-trick, this time in a 3-0 home win over Aberdeen.

01/11/08 - Scores first-half hat-trick as Rangers demolish Inverness CT 5-0.

06/12/08 - Notches sixth SPL treble of his career in a 7-1 victory over Hamilton.

30/12/09 - Scores five goals in Rangers' 7-1 defeat of Dundee United to become the leading SPL goalscorer of all time with 160 goals, beating the record of 158 set by Henrik Larsson.
