Rangers defender Kyle McAusland has joined Ayr United on loan until the middle of January.
The 20-year-old had a successful loan spell at Somerset Park last season and has slipped down the pecking order at Ibrox due to a number of new signings.
Ayr boss Mark Roberts told the club website: "He was great for us last season and it will be good to have him at Somerset Park again.
“With Martyn Campbell out for six weeks, he will play centre-back as I think it is his best position.
“He’s quick, strong, aggressive, good in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet. He’s got everything you want as a centre-back."
