Dundee striker Leighton McIntosh is closing in on a comeback after more than six months out with an ankle injury.
The 20-year-old, who has been capped at Scotland under-19 level, has been absent since being injured during a loan spell at Montrose last season.
Dens Park assistant manager Ray Farningham said: “Leighton has been edging closer to full training for a couple of weeks. He is now back in with the boys and a playing comeback is not far away.
“He learnt a fair amount on loan at Montrose and we are looking to benefit from that.”
