Former Hamilton and Peterhead defender Connor McGlinchey is looking for a new club after failing to dislodge Blue Toon skipper Steven Noble from his left-back role.
The 21-year-old joined the Balmoor men in February 2013 after his release from Accies, where he had played regularly in the First Division.
McGlinchey, who made 25 appearances in the North East, said: “I enjoyed my time at Peterhead but I want to be playing regularly.
“Jim McInally offered me the chance to return but, when we talked it through, it was agreed I should leave as he wants me to be playing. I am happy to talk to any club as I want to get my future sorted.”
