Dumbarton’s promotion push will be missing Bryan Prunty for at least a fortnight after the striker had to undergo surgery to tidy up a minor leg injury.
The 30-year-old has been a regular this season but has been forced to drop out of things, with manager Ian Murray saying: “Bryan has been playing with this problem for a while so we are glad it is getting fixed.
“It is thankfully not a serious injury but we want him to be 100% right for the run-in.
