Arbroath hope that on-loan Dundee striker Leighton McIntosh will be available for Saturday’s trip to Ayr United.
The 21-year-old scored twice in five games for the Red Lichties but has missed their last two matches due to an ankle injury.
Gayfield player/manager Paul Sheerin said: “Leighton was close to making the game with Airdrie at the weekend so fingers crossed he will be good for Ayr."
