A point would have been enough for Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell's men to secure the silverware but a Brian Graham double and goals from Ross Stewart and Josh Mullin saw off Gary Naysmith's relegation-threatened team in Dingwall.
The Staggies received the Championship trophy after the game and sign off a successful campaign away to bottom club Falkirk next Saturday.
