The 19-year-old joins on loan from Motherwell and follows Leighton McIntosh (Wrexham), Adam Livingstone (Motherwell) and Seb Ross (Aberdeen) to the Balmoral Stadium.
Cove boss Hartley told the club website: "I would like to thank Motherwell and their manager, Stephen Robinson, for giving us the opportunity to work with Jamie.
