At a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday (28 November) a sub-committee of the SPFL Board charged Dundee FC with playing an ineligible player in a cinch Reserve Cup match:
• Tuesday 7 November 2023 – Dunfermline Athletic Reserves 1–5 Dundee Reserves
Dundee FC admitted breaching SPFL Rules and were sanctioned as follows:
1. Reprimand and warning as to future conduct.
2. A fine of £1000, of which £500 is suspended.
3. The original match result to be annulled and recorded as follows:
Dunfermline Athletic Reserves 3–0 Dundee Reserves
