Team of the Week

Craig Fowler selects his Team of the Week, with St Mirren's Adam Hammill the star man for his two-goal show against Hearts...

GK - Zander Clark (St Johnstone)
Clark gets the nod for an excellent early save in St Johnstone’s 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock. Though his side didn't win all three points, this was a sixth straight shut-out for Clark and Saints.

RB - Liam Grimshaw (Motherwell)
The industrious midfielder started at right wing-back and was excellent as Motherwell thumped Aberdeen 3-0 at Fir Park.

DC - Jack Baird (St Mirren)
St Mirren got themselves their first win since the opening day of the Premiership season thanks to a 2-0 home victory over Hearts. Baird was reinstated to the centre of the defence after an injury to Anton Ferdinand and shone brightly.

DC - Gareth McAuley (Rangers)
The 38-year-old fulfilled a lifetime ambition by making his first start for Rangers in their 3-0 win over Livingston. The veteran was a calming presence in the back-line as Rangers moved into second place in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

DL - Greg Taylor (Kilmarnock)
Another excellent performance from the left-back helped Killie record a second consecutive away clean sheet with their 0-0 draw at St Johnstone.

MC - Olivier Ntcham (Celtic)
The Frenchman was restored to the starting XI as Tom Rogic sat out and quickly went about trying to hold on to his place with an accomplished showing in Celtic's 3-0 win at Hamilton.

MC - Ryan Christie (Celtic)
Fresh from helping Scotland finish top of their UEFA Nations League group, Christie returned to Celtic and kept up his terrific form with a goal and another man-of-the-match worthy performance in the win at Accies.

MC - Paul McGowan (Dundee)
Dundee found themselves further adrift at the bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership after the weekend's football, but received a major confidence boost after coming back from two goals down to draw with Hibs at Easter Road. McGowan nabbed himself the equaliser in the 2-2 draw and excelled throughout.

FC - Adam Hammill (St Mirren)
St Mirren now have a three-point gap on Dundee, and are just two points behind Hamilton, after a 2-0 win over Hearts in Paisley. The former Liverpool youngster netted twice, including a 40-yard screamer. For that tremendous goal he is this week's star man.

FC - Danny Johnson (Motherwell)
The striker made a scoring return to the starting XI, striking twice in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen, including a terrific opener where he ran from inside his own half before finishing past Joe Lewis.

FC - Billy Mckay (Ross County)
Mckay netted in Ross County's 2-1 home win over Dunfermline in the only league game in the Scottish football weekend outside the top flight. The result moved the Staggies back into second spot, two points behind leaders Ayr United.
