GK - Zach Hemming (Kilmarnock)
Kyle Lafferty grabbed the plaudits for his goals and Stephen McGinn impressed in the centre but we've gone for the Killie keeper, who made a penalty save as the hosts recovered to defeat Dunfermline 2-1 at Rugby Park and get back to winning ways in the cinch Championship.
DEF - Jamie Brandon (Greenock Morton)
The Hearts loanee was solid at right-back but it's when he was moved into midfield that he was able to make a huge impact as Morton scored twice in as many minutes to overturn a 1-0 deficit and defeat Queen of the South 2-1 at Cappielow. Brandon even created the winner for Cameron Blues.
DEF - Ross Graham (Dundee United)
The young defender drew praise from his manager after helping the Terrors into the next round of the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 victory at Partick Thistle, a match where the visitors were under the cosh for extended periods.
DEF - Lee Hamilton (Edinburgh City)
Hamilton put in a solid performance and scored the only goal of the game as City continued their recent strong run with a 1-0 win over Stirling Albion last Friday night in cinch League 2.
DEF - Stephen Kingsley (Heart of Midlothian)
Hearts are through to the next round of the Scottish Cup after edging past Livingston on penalties. From the 0-0 stalemate, Kingsley was the most impressive man in maroon throughout the 120 minutes.
MID - Greg Kiltie (St Mirren)
The attacker netted twice as St Mirren ran out 4-0 winners over League 2 leaders Kelty Hearts to make it to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
MID - Lewis Stevenson (Hibernian)
Stevenson has been back in his old position of central midfield of late and impressed during the Scottish Cup win over Arbroath. Shaun Maloney's men had to survive an early goal, and a few scares thereafter, but eventually emerged with a 3-1 triumph.
MID - Mark O’Hara (Motherwell)
The midfielder was at his all-action best as Motherwell dumped Aberdeen out of the competition (again, another side who came from a goal down to win) and sealed the fate of Dons boss Stephen Glass, who parted company with the club on Sunday.
MID - Scott Tiffoney (Partick Thistle)
A rare place for a player on a losing side but there's no denying the fine performance of Tiffoney in the cup defeat to Dundee United. The winger was the main tormenter in the match and definitely didn't deserve to be on the losing side.
FWD - Ryan Wallace (East Fife)
This week's star man comes from East Fife's 3-1 victory at Alloa Athletic, a result which injected a little life back into the cinch League 1 relegation battle and saw Alloa boss Barry Ferguson leave on Monday. Wallace netted once and set up another two as his side came from behind to win.
FWD - Calum Gallagher (Airdrieonians)
Airdrie were seemingly one of the few teams in the country this past weekend who were able to hold on to a lead as they beat Montrose 4-1 to move to within five points of the summit in the cinch League 1 table. Gallagher netted twice in the first half for the Diamonds.
