GK – Jerome Prior (Livingston)
Livi are up into second place in the William Hill Championship after an impressive 2-1 victory away to early-season pace-setters Ayr United. Prior made himself a second-half hero with a big save from Scott McMann to preserve the win.
DEF – Danny Devine (Inverness CT)
Inverness CT secured a morale-boosting victory against Annan Athletic with Devine scoring the only goal of the game as well as putting in a solid display at the back.
DEF – Billy Koumetio (Dundee)
The summer signing was excellent as Dundee earned their first clean sheet in the league since mid-April courtesy of a 1-0 away win over Motherwell.
DEF – Josh Kerr (Stirling Albion)
Kerr may have made the step forward into midfield in recent weeks but the natural defender helped himself to a goal and assist as Stirling Albion made it three wins on the spin with a 3-1 triumph over Clyde.
MID – Blair Spittal (Hearts)
Neil Critchley made the perfect start as Hearts head coach with a 4-0 thumping of St. Mirren and he will have been left pleased with the performance of Blair Spittal. The former Dundee United and Motherwell ace scored the final goal of the contest and was a constant menace at Tynecastle.
MID – Brad Lyons (Kilmarnock)
A brilliantly combative performance from the midfielder helped Kilmarnock to their first home league win of the campaign as Derek McInnes' men dented Rangers' chance to move closer to the William Hill Premiership leaders.
MID – Jamie McGrath (Aberdeen)
This week's Star Man was the architect of Aberdeen's second-half comeback in what might be the game of the season. The Dons fought back from 2-0 down at the home of the reigning champions to take a point with McGrath creating both goals. His passing was superb throughout the contest, including a wonderful assist for Ester Sokler's goal.
MID – Sena Niang (Dumbarton)
The Senegalese star dominated the midfield area as Dumbarton finally got themselves a win in William Hill League 1, controlling proceedings in a very impressive fashion as they defeated Arbroath 3-1 at Gayfield.
MID – Glenn Middleton (Dundee United)
The most dramatic finale to a match in the SPFL this weekend took place at Tannadice as Dundee United scored twice in injury time to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 triumph. Middleton was the home side's main man as he created the opener for Sam Dalby.
FWD – Benjamin Kimpioka (St Johnstone)
Saints got themselves an important three points with a 3-0 victory over Ross County at McDiarmid Park. Kimpioka continued his fine start to the 2024/25 season with a double in the triumph.
FWD – Brian Graham (Partick Thistle)
Thistle got back to winning ways as they got the better of Airdrieonians by 2-1 at Firhill. Graham added to his equalising goal against Falkirk the previous week with a double in this one.
