This year’s William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals will both be overseen by teams of six officials with additional assistant referees added at this stage for the first ever time.
Last year’s final between Hibs and Celtic saw officials placed behind each goal for the first time and now additional officials will assist referees Bobby Madden and William Collum in both semi-final matches.
Madden will take charge of Rangers against Dundee United game on Saturday, April 12 and he will be assisted by Assistant Referees Graham Chambers and Alastair Mather, Fourth Official Calum Murray along with Additional Assistant Referees John Beaton and Alan Muir.
Collum is the man in the middle when St Johnstone face Aberdeen on Sunday, April 13 with his supporting team being Assistant Referees Gavin Harris and David McGeachie, Fourth Official Steven McLean and Additional Assistant Referees Kevin Clancy and Brian Colvin.
Both games take place at Ibrox Stadium with 12.45pm kick offs.
