Ryan Hedges gave Derek McInnes' men the lead after 19 minutes but Marios Ogkmpoe equalised for Brian Rice's team early in the second half.
The draw was enough to lift Aberdeen to third place in the table while Hamilton stay bottom but move to within three points of St Mirren.
