He will work alongside newly-appointed Director of Football, Jim Duffy.
Director of Football Jim Duffy told the club’s website: “I’m delighted that Brian has accepted the offer to become Head Coach. He is someone I know well and who I enjoyed working with last year as a captain and coach, and now he has the added responsibility of being Head Coach.
“Brian commands respect in the dressing room and has natural leadership qualities. He has aspirations for a coaching career and I’m sure he will have a positive influence on a new crop of players over the course of the new season.”
