The SPFL and SWPL wish to recruit a Video Producer to create engaging and bespoke video and digital content, which supports the league’s commercial goals in line with the organisation’s business plan.
The SPFL is the body responsible for organising and commercialising the premier football competition in Scotland involving all 42 senior professional football clubs.
The successful candidate will report directly to the SPFL’s Digital Content Manager. This is a permanent position.
The role is usually based at Hampden Park, Glasgow. The SPFL offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
• Film and edit engaging and high-quality content related to all four Scottish Professional Football League divisions, the Scottish League Cup, the SPFL Trust Trophy, the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League and the SWPL Cup.
• Self-shoot interviews and features which highlight the work of the SPFL/SWPL and showcases the stories which exists in our leagues, which connect with our target audiences.
• Shoot and/or edit highlights packages, promotional trailers and features, creative montages, and other related material for a variety of digital platforms.
• Create a consistently high standard of video production in terms of branding, lighting, audio and presentation.
• Produce new content ideas which will appeal to our wide and diverse audience.
• Support with the creation of graphics and effects in line with overall production concepts.
• Assist in maintenance of SPFL digital archive content.
• Any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Ability to use and maintain video broadcast equipment including camera, light and audio kit.
• Adept with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong communication skills written and verbal.
• Knowledge and passion for Scottish club football.
• Excellent organisation, planning, time management and administrative abilities in line with guidelines and timescales. Ability to prioritise and deliver projects to a brief.
• Takes ownership of projects with professional delivery and real attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, creative individual with the ability to generate and present new ideas.
• Professional, is able to approach the role with the same high standard, regardless of the high-profile nature of events or personnel.
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours and weekends. For example, during the league season, it is likely the working week will consist of one weekend day and 4 weekdays.
• Full driving licence and flexibility to travel for work.
