Hibernian and Aberdeen are planning a tribute to the legendary Eddie Turnbull - who died on Saturday at the age of 88 - when they meet in the capital on Saturday May 14.

Turnbull won three titles as player at Easter Road and was part of the Famous Five forward line. He went on to manage the club for most of the 1970s, when he won the League Cup and was in charge when Hibs beat rivals Hearts 7-0 at Tynecastle.

Capped nine times by Scotland, he managed Aberdeen between 1965 and 1971, guiding the Dons to Scottish Cup glory in 1970, before taking up the job at Easter Road a year later.
