The draw for the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup took place this afternoon at Hampden Park and was conducted by Kenny Shiels, Billy Stark and Neil Doncaster.
There is an Edinburgh derby in store at Easter Road after Hibernian were paired with Hearts while Morton's reward for a shock win over Celtic is a home tie against St Johnstone. Inverness CT take on Dundee United and Motherwell are up against Aberdeen.

• INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE v DUNDEE UNITED
• MORTON v ST JOHNSTONE
• HIBERNIAN v HEART OF MIDLOTHIAN
• MOTHERWELL v ABERDEEN
Dates for ties: Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th October
In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time of 30 minutes will take place and thereafter, if necessary, kicks from the Penalty Mark will be taken in accordance with the Rules laid down by The International Football Association Board.
