Experienced midfielder Chris Millar has returned to Morton as new manager Ray McKinnon's first signing at Cappielow.
The 35-year-old played for the Greenock club from 2003 and 2008 then spent a decade with St Johnstone before leaving McDiarmid Park at the end of the season.
Millar told the Morton website: “I am completely buzzing to be back. Obviously, as I still stay local, a lot of people have been encouraging me to come back.
“As soon as the manager gave me the call and had a chat it was an easy decision for me to make. My ambition for the club is to push for promotion and I cannot wait to get started."
