Freed St. Johnstone kid Gregg Mitchell is hoping that the seven years he has spent developing with SPL sides will help him find a midfield role at a new club.
Mitchell who turns 18 next month played with Aberdeen from 2006 to 2011 before moving to the Saints at under-16 level and stepping up to being a full timer at the start of 2011/2012.
Mitchell said: “I have been involved in football at a very good level for a number of years now so hopefully that stands me in good stead. I have worked with the St. Johnstone first team for a couple of seasons and was on the bench for them a good few times.”
“Hopefully I can get something else fixed up soon.”
