Rangers launch away strip

Rangers youngsters Kyle Hutton, Jamie Ness, John Fleck and Gregg Wylde were on hand at Murray Park today to help launch the club's new away kit for season 2011/12.

The quartet all enjoyed first-team exposure last term as Walter Smith led the Ibrox club to their third Clydesdale Bank Premier League title in a row.

New manager Ally McCoist is working hard to add his squad for next season but midfielder Hutton is happy to fight for his place and said: "Competition is good for a club.

"If new signings come in, we (the young players) will just have to deal with it. It's part and parcel of football so all you can do is keep doing your best and hopefully catch the gaffer's eye.

"It is a bonus that the squad is intact. If you are comfortable with your team-mates it can only be a good thing. If we can keep a hold of Allan McGregor that will be a big plus."
