SPFL clubs have appointed Stranraer chairman Iain Dougan as the SPFL Board alternate director for William Hill League One and League Two clubs at the SPFL general meeting.
Iain replaces Allan Maitland in the role after Allan’s resignation as club chairman at Clyde earlier this month.
Iain was elected following a club vote at the SPFL general meeting yesterday morning and he rejoins the SPFL Board after he previously fulfilled the role of League One and League Two director in seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19.
He will perform the role until the end of season 2024/25 along with the rest of the current SPFL Board.
The SPFL would lastly like to thank Allan Maitland for his work on the SPFL Board this season.
