GK – Nicky Hogarth (Falkirk)
As expected, Falkirk took all three points from the top-v-bottom clash against Airdrieonians in the William Hill Championship, but it might not have been that way without Hogarth's heroics. The keeper made three excellent stops for the league leaders, who ran out 2-0 winners.
DEF – Kristian Webster (Dumbarton)
While relegation may have been confirmed for Dumbarton, they showed plenty of heart for the fight in a 0-0 home draw with Queen of the South in William Hill League 1. Webster impressed in defence with his battling play and hard running.
DEF – Sean McGinty (Hamilton Accies)
Accies were denied a crucial three points by an injury-time equaliser, but they can be proud of their performance away to promotion-chasing Ayr United in this 1-1 draw. McGinty was a colossus at the back as he won the vast majority of balls in the air that came his way.
DEF – Tam O’Ware (Kelty Hearts)
An outstanding showing from the veteran defender helped Kelty Hearts to a comeback, 1-1 draw against William Hill League 1 league leaders Arbroath this past weekend.
MID – Ryan Sargent (Elgin City)
Elgin's six-game losing skid is now very much in the rearview mirror as they went to play-off rivals Spartans and won for the second weekend in succession. Sargeant was key in the 2-1 victory as his dribbling terrorised the home defence, including setting up one of the goals.
MID – Ali Crawford (Greenock Morton)
Morton are now just five points behind Partick Thistle in the race for the last play-off spot in the second tier. Dougie Imrie's men have won three straight, the most recent of which being Saturday's commanding 2-1 win over Queen's Park. Crawford was the best player on the pitch during the victory at Cappielow.
MID – Stuart Bannigan (Partick Thistle)
Bannigan was easily the game's most impressive player in his side's 0-0 draw with Raith Rovers on Friday night.
MID – Alex Ferguson (Forfar Athletic)
Forfar are back off the bottom of William Hill League 2 thanks to a 1-0 away win to Stranraer; the second time they've travelled to Stair Park and left with three points this month. Ferguson got the only goal of the game for Jim Weir's side.
MID – Malik Zaid (Edinburgh City)
City got back to winning ways to strengthen their place in the William Hill League 2 play-offs with a blockbuster 5-2 home victory over former league leaders East Fife. Zaid scored one, made another and demonstrated his undoubted class throughout.
FWD – Martin Rennie (Clyde)
Clyde got themselves a big win in the William Hill League 2 play-off battle with a 3-1 home triumph over fellow strugglers Bonnyrigg Rose. There's now a six-point gap between the sides after Rennie scored one and set up another in the game at New Douglas Park.
FWD – Blair Lyons (Montrose)
This week's Star Man comes from Links Park as Montrose made it four unbeaten, and put themselves six points clear of danger, with a 3-1 home victory over Annan Athletic. Lyons was instrumental, scoring two and setting up the other to help claim a big three points for Stewart Petrie's men.
