Aberdeen narrowed the gap at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership to four points with a 1-0 win over bottom club Dundee United at Tannadice.
Simon Church got the only goal just before the half-hour mark as the Dons moved closer to Celtic, who were held to a 0-0 draw by Dundee at Parkhead.
Partick Thistle are now just two points outside the top six after beating St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park. Callum Booth and Steven Lawless scored early on for the Jags but Chris Kane pulled one back midway through the second half.
