Aberdeen closed the gap on Premiership leaders Celtic to three points with a 3-0 win over Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park on Sunday.

Defender Andrew Considine opened the scoring from close range after just six minutes and Ryan Jack finished off a good move two minutes later as the Dons made an outstanding start.

Hamilton's hopes of a comeback were dealt a blow when Jesus Garcia Tena was sent off on the hour mark for his second yellow card and Niall McGinn added a late third goal as Derek McInnes' men extended their unbeaten league run to 12 matches.
