Aberdeen are in Europa League action on Thursday afternoon, kick-off 3.45pm, when they face Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan.
Derek McInnes' side trained in the Central Stadium on Wednesday after making the marathon journey east and have their eyes on a place in the Europa League play-off round.
The Dons knocked out FK Shkendija of Macedonia on the away goals rule before claiming an impressive 5-2 aggregate victory over Rijeka of Croatia.
Aberdeen begin their Ladbrokes Premiership campaign against Dundee United at Tannadice on Sunday - live on Sky Sports at 3.30pm - before taking on Kairat in the second leg of their European tie at Pittodrie next Thursday.
McInnes said: "I think Almaty are a bit more robust and more into their season than Rijeka were. They certainly have talent at the top end of the pitch and a capability of scoring goals. We feel we are going to have to play well again over both legs to get through to the next round."
