Aberdeen are in action in the spectacular surroundings of the Kantrida Stadium in the port city of Rijeka on Thursday evening.
The Dons defeated FK Shkendija of Macedonia on the away goals rule in the Europa League first qualifying round and face a tough test in the heat of Croatia.
Rijeka beat Standard Liege and Feyenoord on home soil in the group stage of the competition last season and also drew with eventual winners Sevilla.
Defender Shay Logan told the Aberdeen website: "I know we will have to play better than we did in the last round but I believe we can. We have those two games behind us and we are now fully prepared for this tie. The manager and fitness coach have got us ready.
"We know, though, that we are a good team and hopefully we will give a good account of ourselves and take a good result back to Pittodrie and see what happens then."
