Motherwell have signed defender Tom Aldred on loan from English League 1 side Bury until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has previous experience of Scottish football with Inverness CT and can count Carlisle, Watford, Accrington Stanley and Blackpool among his former clubs.
Well boss Stephen Robinson told the club website: "We were clear from the start of the January window we were looking to increase our options in central defence. Tom ticks that box - we tried to get him in the summer so we are delighted to finally have him at Motherwell."
